Andrew Strong - The Commitments TourFans of fictional soul bands rejoice because Irish rocker Andrew Strong of The Commitments is making his way to Australia for the 25th anniversary of the iconic music film.
Strong shot to notoriety in 1991 for his portrayal of Declan "Deco" Cuffe, the lead singer of the band The Commitments, in eponymous film.
Now, the wildly popular film soundtrack in being brought to Australia in its entirety, complete with a seven piece band to relive the magic of the movie.
The tour will be hitting major metro areas in March next year, and you can pretty much guarantee that hits like Mustang Sally, Try A Little Tenderness and Chain Of Fools will be making an appearance.
During it's heyday, The Commitments soundtrack enjoyed 51 weeks in the ARIA Top 40 chart, peaking at #1 position.
