The Aussie farewell tour from American rockers Anberlin has expanded today, with another show in Melbourne announced.

The band sold-out their first show at the Forum Theatre in only a few days, so an extra date at 170 Russell has been confirmed. The Florida natives will play at the old Billboard venue on Wednesday 10 September, with tickets on sale now.

As with the other dates on the tour, the Americans will be joined by local alternative rock outfit The Getaway Plan. And in a special treat for fans who make it along to the gig, Anberlin will play their beloved second album Never Take Friendship Personal in full.

Anberlin announced their intention to split after 2014 earlier this year.
