Amyl & The Sniffers Ink Deal With Mushroom Music Publishing

Amyl & The Sniffers have announced a deal with Mushroom Music Publishing.

"Amyl are one of the most exciting bands coming out of Australia right now," said MMP's Head of A&R and Creative, Erol Yurdagul. 

"They are uncompromising and stay true to themselves and their art and we couldn’t be happier to be working with them."

The Melbourne group formed in 2016 and released their EP Giddy Up soon after, with Big Attraction coming the following year. 

Amyl & The Sniffers joined King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard's Flightless Records in March 2018, and signed with ATO Records for North America and Rough Trade for the rest of the world soon after. 

Their 2019 self-titled album won the ARIA Award for Best Rock Album and was shortlisted for the 2019 Australian Music Prize. The album also topped the ARIA Vinyl Charts and debuted at #22 on the Albums Chart. 

The band were due to perform at this year's Coachella ahead of its cancellation, and are currently up for three awards for this year's Music Victoria Awards.
