This week doesn’t just mark the release date of Amyl And The Sniffersnew album, Cartoon Darkness, but it’s also the week they announce their massive homecoming.

Amyl And The Sniffers will return home this summer, taking over Australia and New Zealand in January and February 2025. They’ll be joined by special guests Bob Vylan (UK) and Miss Kaninna in Australia, with NZ shows supported by C.O.F.F.I.N.

It’s been an impressive year for the Melbourne punks, who, aside from releasing a new album today, performed at European summer festivals throughout the year, supported Foo Fighters in the US, and headlined sold-out shows in the US, UK, and Europe.

In addition to their Australian tour, announced today, Amyl And The Sniffers will be the main support for Fontaines D.C.’s 45,000-capacity show at Finsbury Park in July 2025. The show is sold out.

The band’s Australian tour starts at Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall on Thursday, 16 January, before heading to the Port Beach Beer Garden in Perth on Friday, 17 January, Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Friday, 24 January, Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Saturday, 25 January, Wollongong’s Waves on Monday, 27 January, Sunshine Coast’s The Station on Thursday, 30 January, Brisbane’s The Tivoli on Friday, 31 January, and wrapping up the Aussie dates with a performance at Party In The Paddock on Friday, 7 February.

Following the Australian dates, the band heads to New Zealand for three shows: one at Meow Nui, Wellington, on Friday, 14 February, and two shows at Auckland’s Powerstation on Saturday, 15, and Sunday, 16 February.
