Yesterday, beloved Australian singer-songwriter Amy Shark released her new single, Can I Shower At Yours, a relatable love song with a sweet accompanying video.
The lovely music video opens with a smitten couple saying yes to the titular question, Can I Shower At Yours? From there, Shark enters the video with several dancers who lead easy-to-follow grooves.
Throughout the clip, Shark holds an acoustic or electric guitar; that’s when she and her dancers aren’t on exercise bikes. That’s the moment in this music video, and the song itself, that feels like it’ll be repeated on TikTok for weeks.
Hugo Dean, the Content Lead at Bolster Group, reveals that the entire music video was filmed on mobile phones. Writing on LinkedIn, Dean shared that Can I Shower At Yours was the first-ever music video shot by the Bolster Group. They clearly nailed the brief, as the clip looks slick and professional.
Teaming up with director Mitch Green and Froomes and Harry Holland, who starred alongside Shark, Bolster Group partnered “with the team at Google to film the entire clip on the Google Pixel 7 Pro. Yup, shot the whole darn thing on phones.”
Dean added, “This project was a huge push from a creative and production perspective, and I'm so proud to have been involved in another project that is pushing the boundaries of music/brand collaborations.” Check out the music video below.

Shark said about her new single, “Can I Shower At Yours is about that moment in the beginning stages of meeting someone when your mind runs away from you and you let the butterflies in your stomach take over. It's about letting your guard down, looking a little pathetic and giving in to vulnerability.”
In other Amy Shark news, the Adore singer is up for her first Logie Award for the Most Popular New Talent award, earning the nod for her work as a judge on the recent reboot of Australian Idol.
She’s in the category alongside Netflix, Nine Network and Stan stars Ayesha Madon and Chloe Hayden (Heartbreak High), Love Island Australia’s Flex Mami, RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under’s Kween Kong, and Surviving Summer’s Lilliana Bowrey.
