AmplifyLIVE Announces 2016 Line-Up

Following a widely-praised inaugural run in 2015, #AmplifyLIVE returns to Australia this April with a massive first artist announcement.

The youth-orientated event, which features a number of viral internet superstars, will this year be headlined by US YouTube star and renowned LGBTQ+ icon Tyler Oakley, who ended up on TIME Magazine’s 30 Most Influential People On The Internet List and has already, at the age of 26, released a book and documentary.

Oakley will be joined by fellow internet stars Kian Lawley, JC Caylen, Jamie Curry, Andrea Russett, Tyde Levi and special guests in each state.

Set to go down the first week of the school holiday break, the tour kicks off at Dreamworld in Brisbane on Tuesday 5 April before taking on Melbourne’s Palais Theatre (7 April), Adelaide’s Thebarton Theatre (9 April), Sydney’s Big Top (12 April) and Perth Concert Hall (14 April).

Last year was so successful that the 2016 event is also branching out to Auckland and Wellington.
