AM going to be there.
Music is slowly returning to Melbourne’s stages and we could not be more chuffed. Livestreaming has kept us sane the past year, but when push comes to shove being there can’t be beat, especially when ‘there’ is in front of a band like AM Reruns.
Led by Andy Campbell (Nat Vazer, Jim Lawrie), the local power-pop trio’s self-titled debut album gained solid airplay in Aus and the US last year while their stop-you-in-your-tracks performances spread the word on the ground.
Now, after a lockdown-induced break, they’re back with new songs, a new rhythm section - Andy Hazel (Damien Cowell's Disco Machine) on bass and Bianca Billy Raffin on drums - and a show locked in at Small Time this 12 Dec.
The COVID-safe multimedia venue collaborates with each featured artist in the lead-up to their set, so if that's too long to wait for a fix of pop-smart new-wave you can also check Small Time’s socials the week before for some exclusive AM pre-runs.
Entry is by donation but make sure to book ahead, space is at a premium. If you do miss out on a spot (or don’t happen to live in Melbourne), Small Time will also stream the show out live on the night via Facebook.
