Just landed in Sydders! We recently started touring with Sam Dowson who is the best drummer on the planet, no joking. Sam has completely ignited and unlocked a whole new energy to our live show. Our live show feels so much more complete. Jadore you, Sam.
Did the obligatory walk past the closed venue. Might take this moment to announce Jules is a new front person in the band OF MONSTERS AND MEN. What a dream to play at The Enmore though for real.
Pre-show snack was very strong. Got the number four, which is my current favourite number too - what a dream run. A bit of an inside scoop here, guys, but we’re not into eating a big meal before we play because it KOs us, but then if we eat nothing that’s low energy too so the key is you have to go hard at lunch, and then before the show, you must have a springer or samosa or equivalent fried snack. Feel free to add as many condiments as you desire.
Spicy food for a spicy gal. We really need to start putting chilli oil/sauce on our rider.
Then we went to lay down in the park for a bit. Park naps, park stretch, park my arse here for an hour or so because I have new Connies and they’re hurting my feet a little tbqh.

You know that Enmore hotel with the lush jungle? It’s super close to the venue so no taxi/Ubers required.
