New Zealander Hollie Fullbrook will be accompanied by her band

New Zealand's Tiny Ruins have announced they are touring Australia this July for a run of album launch shows.

The outfit is usually just the moniker of vocalist and guitarist Hollie Fullbrook, but this time she'll be bringing her bassist Cass Basil and drummer Alexander Freer along for the dates.

The shows are in celebration of Fullbrook's latest creation, Brightly Painted One, which is out now through Bella Union/Spunk.

The Music's Madeleine Laing said of the record: “Convincing without being overly earnest, Brightly Painted One is acoustic folk-pop done with rare finesse.”
