The band are still a mammoth drawcard.
Melbourne Sunnyboys fans have made their excitement about the 80s Aussie rock band getting back on the road known very strongly with the date in the Victorian capital already sold out, months before the show is to take place.
It took a mere nine days for the band to sell out the city's Forum Theatre, so it has been decided that they will have to put on a second show to meet the huge demand they are in right now. The band will now play another date at the Forum on Saturday 22 March, with Huxton Creepers once again stepping up as the support act.
It is a big week for the band; their new compilation Our Best Of, is released this Friday and the acclaimed documentary about the life of frontman Jeremy Oxley – The Sunnyboy – is released on DVD tomorrow.
We've premiered two previously unreleased tracks from the compilation, listen to an original rough mix of You Need A Friend here and a live version of Let You Go here.
