Alison Avron Is Releasing Her Debut Album 'Tiny Little Universe'

Local legend Alison Avron is launching her first full-length at Camelot Lounge's Django Bar this Friday, 3 Mar.

Avron, who runs her own intimate music venue The Newsagency, recorded Tiny Little Universe in New York with multi-platinum award-winning producer Philip Jimenez (Wheatus). The finished product is a touchingly open yet polished collection of songs inspired by the loss of her mother in 2014. 

Although a reflection of Avron's "personal journey with grief", the Generations in Jazz Vocal Scholarship finalist believes the LP is steeped in an "uplifting theme of personal growth and love".
