It's her biggest such run to date, and it's set to be a cracker

Her headline run, which is proudly presented by The Music, gets under way with an outing at Geelong's Workers Club on Friday 25 August, before taking on Castlemaine, Hobart, Melbourne and Adelaide in early September.
Soon after, she hits Mandurah and Perth, then it's back east to Byron Bay and a final trio of shows in late September/early October in Sydney, Newcastle and Canberra.

One Foot In, the tune that gave the tour its name, is taken from Barter's beaut debut full-length, A Suitable Girl, which landed back in March to rave reviews. In a write-up for The Music, Madelyn Tait described it as a "dynamic, fun and edgy" listen, with a solid balance of pop nous and authenticity to boot.
The album also made a top-20 debut on the ARIA Albums chart, nab a shout-out from Yoko Ono, and score a track (Girlie Bits) in the triple j Hottest 100, among other accolades — so, you know, it wasn't unfounded praise.
Tickets for Ali Barter's One Foot In national tour are available now. It's her biggest such run to date, and it's set to be an absolute cracker.
