Acclaimed New Zealand singer-songwriter and singular music force, Aldous Harding, is returning to Australia in November.

Having recently wowed audiences while opening shows for Nick Cave on his recent Wild God tour across Australia and New Zealand, she arrives Down Under with renewed interest and devoted fans waiting for her. This time, it’s Harding’s turn to possess the spotlight.

The tour begins at Melbourne’s Forum on Wednesday, 18 November. It continues at Hobart’s Odeon Theatre on Thursday, 19 November, Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Sunday, 22 November, and concludes at Brisbane’s Princess Theatre on Monday, 23 November.

Frontier and Penny Drop Members can access pre-sale tickets on Wednesday, 6 May, at 10 am local time, ahead of the general sale on Thursday, 7 May, at 11 am local time. You can find more ticketing information on the Frontier Touring website.

Aldous Harding is touring in support of her forthcoming fifth album, Train On The Island. Scheduled for release this Friday, 8 May, via 4AD/Remote Control Records, fans have already heard preceding singles One Stop and Venus In The Zinnia.

Harding is an artist who’s impossible to pinpoint. Switching between folk minimalism, art-pop abstraction, and music that’s more elusive and theatrical, she’s a completely distinctive artist. Harding’s latest album was co-produced with longtime collaborator John Parish, who’s known for working with fellow singular artists, PJ Harvey and Dry Cleaning.

Recorded at Rockfield Studios in Wales—where she created her previous albums, 2017’s Party, 2019’s Designer, and 2022’s Warm Chris—Harding is accompanied by musicians including Joe Harvey-Whyte (pedal steel), Mali Llywelyn (harp), Thomas Poli (synth), Sebastian Rochford (drums), and Huw Evans (bass, vocals, guitar and organ) across Train On The Island.

You can pre-order/pre-save the album here.
