Air SupplyHitmakers Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock – best known as the masterminds behind Air Supply – are coming home this December as they celebrate their 50th anniversary.
The Melbourne-formed soft-rock duo commemorate their milestone anniversary after selling out five shows across Australia last year. This time, they’re bringing the show to the cities that missed out.
The tour begins at Gold Coast’s The Star on Thursday, 3 December. It continues at Wollongong’s Sounds of Rock Festival on Saturday, 5 December, Perth’s PCEC Riverside Theatre on Tuesday, 8 December, the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Thursday, 10 December, and the Newcastle Entertainment Centre on Saturday, 12 December.
Following the Australian shows, Air Supply head to New Zealand and perform at Auckland’s The Civic on Tuesday, 15 December.
Pre-sale tickets will be available on Wednesday, 10 June, at 12 pm local time – using the codeword LOVE. The general sale opens on Thursday, 11 June, at 12 pm local time. You can find more ticketing information on the David Roy Williams website.

Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock first crossed paths in May 1975, during rehearsals for Jesus Christ Superstar. Flash forward to today, and 50 years later, they’re responsible for releasing classics such as Love and Other Bruises, Making Love Out of Nothing at All, Now and Forever, The One That You Love, and, of course, Lost in Love.
Upon its release in October 1976, Lost in Love soared to the top of the charts in Australia and was named Song of the Year in 1980. At the time, the duo held seven consecutive Top Five singles in their home country—equalling The Beatles’ record.
Commenting on the forthcoming tour, Hitchcock said, “It means the world to us to celebrate our 50th Anniversary by performing in our homeland of Australia.”
Russell added, “On our 50th year as Air Supply, nothing will make us prouder than coming back to the place where it all began!”
