The Australian Institute of Music (AIM) is bringing in 2020 with the launch of two brand new short courses.
The Latin Street Beats and Afro Cuban Ensemble courses will now be among the short course options which kick off in February next year.
Courses also include Keyboard, Guitar, Choir & Vocals, Bass, Composition, Jazz Ensemble, Rock Band, Theory Pathway and Electronic Music.
"We’re excited about our Short Courses, launched for 2020, which are designed for people with a passion for and interest in Music," said AIM CEO Professor Margaret Noble.
"They complement our undergraduate and post graduate degree programs in music and creative industries, and enable a taste of what these offer."
"Classical music, contemporary music, Composition, Musical Theatre and Arts, and Entertainment Management continue to be our key offerings, which have been built on a solid platform over 50 years of our operations and continue to enhance some of our mainstream courses at the Higher Education levels of Bachelors, Masters and Graduate certificates."
“We’ve had a surge in interest for AIM Short Course because it allows participants to quickly begin exploring their music options and futures in performance, production and management."
