Against Me! drummer Jay Weinberg has announced his departure from the band.

Against Me! drummer Jay Weinberg has announced his departure from the band.


Weinberg posted the following on his Facebook page:


"I want to let you all know that I am leaving Against Me!, and I wish them all the best."


Weinberg joined the group in November 2010 shortly after leaving Madball, and following the departure of Against Me!'s former drummer, George Rebelo.


Against Me! are set to appear at next year's Big Day Out, as well as playing sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne.
