20 years after they rose to fame via 1998 documentary Buena Vista Social Club, Afro Cuban All Stars have announced they will head back to Australia for a 2019 headline tour.
The acclaimed group return Down Under after releasing Absolutely Live II last year and will embrace “several generations and music styles” across six shows.
Renowned for their live energy and fronted by original bandleader Juan De Marcos, the Cuban legends will kick things off late March in Perth before hitting Adelaide, Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane and Melbourne.
