The bee man, hey? *taps nose*

More Sting More Sting

Following murmurs that Mushroom head honcho Michael Gudinski had reached out to Sting to play the AFL Grand Final this October long weekend, AFL boss Gillon McLaghlan has spoken to 3AW this morning, pretty much confirming the iconic muso would be on side at the game.

Speaking to Neil Mitchell, McLachlan said he'd confirmed "the bee man" for the show alongside Mike Brady and that he was "not denying Sting".

"We sorta know," he says, "We just haven't announced it."

Sting would share the stage with all-Aussie acts The Living End and Vance Joy.
