Aesop Rock Will Return To Australia After Six Years In September

US rapper Aesop Rock has announced his return to Australian shores for the first time since his last tour in 2011.

The New York native is considered a pioneer of the alternative hip hop movement and is known for his wide vocabulary and unorthodox flow.

With seven albums under his belt and a handful of EPs, this will be Aesop Rock's first time in New Zealand as he brings along support acts Rob Sonic and DZ Zone.

The tour kicks off in Perth on 23 September, touring nationally.
