Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry has announced on Twitter that the band intends on touring Australia next year as part of a world tour.
While nothing has been officially announced yet, Perry states the tour will kick off in the US summer.
Band has long term plans for WORLD TOUR starting early summer '13. WORLD....... Australia, South America , Far East, keep fingers crossed!

Aerosmith vocalist Steven Tyler also tweeted that he “likes the sound” of an Australian tour.
The last time Aerosmith toured Australia was back in 1990.
