Guitarist of rock idols Aerosmith was injured in a motorcycle accident last week after being hit from behind by a 62 year old driver.
Joe Perry, was riding near his home in Middlesborough, Massachusetts on his Ducati when he was rear-ended by the car of Linda O'Brien's Chevrolet Malibu sedan. Perry did not sustain any serious injuries but was taken to hospital and is now recovering at his home. O'Brien was later charged with following another motorist too closely.
The band's publicist said that "Joe is home and he's fine. All's well and we're all grateful." Fortunately for the veteran rockers it will not interrupt their upcoming August tour of the US, the Cocked, Locked, and Ready to Rock Tour.
