Adelaide Cabaret Star Wins Over Audiences On US TV

He was the first Aussie act to ever make it through to the America's Got Talent quarter finals but sadly Adelaide cabaret act Hans has failed to make it through the show's final rounds.

As reported by Adelaide Now, the seasoned fringe performer shared a huge version of the Spice Up Your Life by The Spice Girls, which was clearly enjoyed by AGT judge and former Spice Girl, Mel B. Check out the performance below.

Hans — aka Matt Gilbertson — has taken to his Instagram account to share his thanks to the show and judges.

"There are so many people working so hard behind the scenes here to make this a fabulous show for you all!! Thank you also to all the other wonderful contestants for this experience!! There are already many exciting shows and things coming up that I can’t wait to share with you!!" he said in the post.

"And honey, if you’re going to leave a reality show… YOU MIGHT AS WELL LEAVE IN A FLURRY OF GLITTER WITH A SPICE GIRL WEEPING TEARS OF REGRET!!"

When I was young, I would lock myself in my bedroom and listen to Spice Girls for hours on end and escape into my own little world. The state of the globe at the moment, I think we all need a little more fun in our lives. If my @agt Spice Up Your Life performance could make you feel even a fraction of the joy the Spice Girls made me feel when I was a teenager, then my job is done! Thank you for all your support!
