"The perfect partner.”
ADA/Warner Music Australia has unveiled a new partnership with Sydney-based label samesame Records.
With an eclectic local roster that currently boasts Melbourne’s DoloRRes and Lvka $teez, Sydney’s The Tin Knees; Perth’s BLXSS and Muka Vhatti and more, samesame Records was launched “to give a new cohort of Aussie artists a legitimate platform to tell their story”.
The new deal will help samesame Records further its mission of artist development and fostering independence alongside originality.
“I think it’s really important for artists in this current climate to have an understanding of their visual identity and have potential to grow an audience through a variety of channels and platforms in a global market,” samesame founder Maddy Hume said.
“The expertise and passion of the local ADA team, along with their international reach and independent spirit make them the perfect partner.”
ADA Australia General Manager Ben Ralph added: “We love all that samesame represents and look forward to working with Maddy to help amplify the creative and talented artists on the label.”
