Helping the state's cultural economy.

The Australian Centre of Moving Image have just announced a collaborative working space for people in creative industries, establishing a major cultural institution called ACMI X.

The new state of the art creative hub will accommodate 60 seats and relocate the offices of ACMI to the Southbank arts precinct. Designed by the award winning architects Six Degrees, ACMI X will also accommodate offices for the National Film and Sound Archive (NFSA), and act as a co-working community that will attract practitioners from all creative industries.

ACMI X has been the answer to 21st century museum's question to exploring new ways of collaborating and nurturing the next generation of creative talent. The project is supported by Creative Victoria, and will provide an excellent opportunity for the state's cultural economy.
