More Splendour In The Grass Splendour In The Grass

While multiple Splendour In The Grass acts are still buzzing and moving around the charts after huge sets last weekend, the release of Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again has seen ABBA’s music dominate the ARIA Albums chart this week.

The film soundtrack has climbed #1 on the Albums chart, while ABBA’s greatest hits compilations Abba Gold & More and Abba Gold has been bumped up to #14 and #34 respectively.

Meanwhile, Splendour In The Act outfit Gang Of Youths have jumped from #56 to #25 with Go Farther In Lightness as Lorde’s Melodrama, Hilltop Hoods’ Drinking From The Sun, Walking Under Stars Restrung and Dean Lewis’ Same Kind Of Different receive bumps and The Wombats’ Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life and Chvrches’ Love Is Dead re-enter the chart.

Other debuts on the Albums chart come from The Internet’s Hive Mind (#40), 88rising’s Head In The Clouds (#61) and Catherine Britt & The Cold Cold Hearts’ self-titled LP (#62).

Over the Singles chart, there’s new music from 6ix9ine, Imagine Dragons, Zedd & Elley Duhe and Billie Eilish.
