"The wait is nearly over."
It's an exciting time to be an ABBA devotee, with the Swedish pop group launching a brand new website that has sent fans into a frenzy, teasing a major announcement for next week.
Prompting fans to register their interest to be "first in line to hear more about ABBA Voyage", the site also links to new social media accounts, promising an announcement set for Thursday 2 September.
For many fans globally, speculation has hit fever pitch that the nearly 40-year wait for an ABBA reunion is finally over, with the group also sharing a snippet of their track You Owe Me One on their Instagram story today.
It's been a long wait for those hankering to see the powerhouse quartet of Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad reunite, following the announcement back in 2016 that the group would be doing a hologram tour.
Previous plans for the ABBA hologram tour revolved around showcasing old images of the band performing as their younger selves, and the latest ABBA Voyage announcement certainly indicates the latest news could very well centre around the long-delayed hologram extravaganza.
