It's time once again to celebrate the best of Australia's myriad independent artists at the 11th annual AIR Awards.
Due to be held in Adelaide this July, today we have the full list of nominations across the categories of hip hop, country, punk, dance and more, with duo AB Original coming out on top with the most nominations this year — five in five categories.
The acclaimed pair have been nominated for Best Independent Artist, Best Independent Album Or EP (Reclaim Australia), Best Independent Single (January 26, feat. Dan Sultan), Breakthrough Independent Artist Of The Year and Best Independent Hip Hop Album.
Tied with four nominations a piece are buzzing indie rocker Alex Lahey, J Award-winning artist DD Dumbo and heavyweight producer Flume, with all three of them nominated for Best Independent Artist and Best Independent Single.

Other notable nominees this year include Ali Barter (Best Independent Artist), Camp Cope (Breakthrough Independent Artist Of The Year), L-FRESH The LION (Best Independent Hip Hop), Henry Wagons (Best Independent Country Album), Violent Soho (Best Independent Hard Rock, Heavy Or Punk Album) and Starley (Best Independent Dance, Electronica Or Club Single).
