Jessica Mauboy may not have taken out the Eurovision 2018 crown but she's won the hearts of the nation with a whole lot of Aussies tuning in to watch her vie for the total.
The Eurovision Song Contest averaged 266,000 people for the grand final, which was broadcast live on SBS at 5am yesterday, with the primetime slot averaging 256,000.
SBS have reported that this year's Eurovision broadcasts have reached a total of 2.9 million Australians, with the grand final "up 454.3% YOY [Year On Year] on live streaming via SBS On Demand".
Mauboy placed 20 out of 26 contestants in the grand final with her track We Got Love, reports ABC, with only nine points of her 99 total received from public voting.

Israel's Netta Barzilai won out the competition with her song, Toy, receiving a total of 529 points, making it her country's fourth win in the competition.
