Musicians, bands, artists and fans globally are paying tribute to The Prodigy's Keith Flint following the news of his death on Monday morning.

The frontman was found in his Essex home by police were he was "pronounced dead at the scene".

Though Flint's death is not being treated as suspicious, The Prodigy wrote in an Instragram post just hours ago that Flint "took his own life".

Names such as The Chemical Brothers, Pete Tong, Foo Fighters and Slipknot have paid tribute to Flint today. 

"He was an amazing front man, a true original and he will be missed," The Chemical Brothers wrote on Twitter.
