The band will be here in January.

More A Place To Bury Strangers More A Place To Bury Strangers

One of the noisiest exponents of atmospheric art rock to come out of anywhere in the past decade or so, A Place To Bury Strangers, have announced their imminent return to Australian shores with a whole series of dates set for January 2013.

Constantly compared to the likes of The Jesus and Mary Chain, My Bloody Valentine, Suicide, Sonic Youth, The Velvet Underground, the band have smashed out a whole shitload of EPs over the past decade or so and a couple of ripping full-length records, most recently the really freaking excellent Worship which was released in June.

The band have a deadest mind-melting live show and the new line-up which features The D4's Dion Lunadon on bass and Robi Gonzalez on drums is apparently absolutely devastating. We sure as hell can't wait to find out.

The band's tour dates as it stands right now are as follows, but we believe there may be a couple more shows added at a later date. Tickets are on sale tomorrow, Thursday 15 November!
