Heavy band and another heavy band release a very heavy, very solid split release. Go figure!

Earlier this week, Brisbane's A Night In Texas and British Columbia's AngelMaker dropped their first split together, titled 'Unholy Alliance', and as you might expect, it's brutal as fuck!

The split features three new songs from both bands, but let us start off with the homegrown talent first.

This split is now A Night In Texas's second release with their new vocalist, Ethan Lucas, who replaced Rheese Peters earlier this year; the first of which being 'The Rotten King' which also features on this split's track listing.

"This song is for anyone who has ever had the beliefs or ideologies of another person or institution pushed upon them", said the Aussie band over Facebook when they premiered one of the new songs, 'Fuck Your God', upon the split's release on Monday.

Now, on the other side of this very heavy coin is Canada's AngelMaker who may be gaining a fair few more Aussie fans with this release. Of course, I think it goes without saying that if you really dig ANIT, then you will more than likely enjoy what AngelMaker have to offer.

You can check out their first song from the release in the form of the crushing six-minute jam that is 'Aradia' just below, and if you like what you hear, then go stream the full intense 27-minute long split here.
