Four more artists sign on.

With an already stacked line-up confirmed, Victoria's A Hitch To The Sticks festival has announced four more acts for this year's regional event.

Mic Conway of legendary local band The Captain Matchbox Whoopee Band will assemble a special one-off line-up and perform under the name The Songs Of Captain Matchbox, following a petition from Wangaratta's Edge FM 102.1 earlier this year, while festival founder Dallas Frasca also joins the bill, alongside Barry Morgan and Taj Farrant.

They join previously confirmed headliners Tex Perkins & The Fat Rubber Band, Magic Dirt, Stonefield, Ella Hooper and more, all of whom will take over the Wangaratta regional from November 1-3.

The unique spectacle, founded by Frasca and her business partner Renee Delahunty, offers 50 punters the opportunity to travel from Melbourne's CBD to Wangaratta on a three-day musical bus safari.

For those unable to attend the bus trip, A Hitch To The Sticks will host three public events over the weekend.
