A selection of live performances recorded at BIGSOUND will hit Singaporean airwaves and beyond in the near future in light of the news that weekly community radio show Live Delay — airing on Zed Digital, the online arm of Brisbane's 4ZZZ, from 7-8pm Sundays and distributed around Australia via the Community Radio Network — has been picked up by regional online network and talent champions Frequency Asia.

Although the team are out and about at the showcase events all over the Valley, it'll be a while before any of this week's sets make it to the airwaves, with the first episode to be broadcast on Frequency Asia being #177, featuring performances by Babaganouj (The Foundry, 2015) and The Goon Sax (Woolly Mammoth, 2016). Selected acts from BIGSOUND to get the Live Delay treatment include the likes of PYNES, Gawurra, Thigh Master, The Laurels, Mike Noga, The Gooch Palms, Dorsal Fins and Bec Sandridge, as well a Singaporean fly-ins .gif and In Each Hand A Cutlass.

The brainchild of veteran musician and man-about-town Branko CosicLive Delay began in January 2013 with an eye to putting the spotlight on the excellence of Australian talent in the live arena. It's generated more than 150 episodes — as you'd probably guess from the numbering of Frequency Asia's first instalment — and featured performances from high-profile local acts from Courtney Barnett, The Drones and Blank Realm to Total Control, Custard and Ed Kuepper.

Live Delay will stream on Frequency Asia every Monday from 6pm (GMT+8, 8pm AEST). The station is based in Singapore, with listeners hailing from Istanbul to Vladivostok. See their website for further details
