Canadian metallers 3 Inches of Blood are the subject of a budding filmmaker's new documentary, which is aimed at showcasing life on the road.

Billed as "an intimate look at the life of a touring Metal band," the documentary is set to follow 3 Inches of Blood on their upcoming Canadian tour with Cancer Bats.

Filmmaker Tom MacLeod posted the following overview:

"During the month of May I will be accompanying 3 Inches Of Blood on their Canadian tour with Cancer Bats.

This film gives our audience the opportunity to see the tour through the eyes of the band.

All funds raised will go to purchasing the necessary gear for production and editing as well as some travel costs.

We hope you can lend your support to make this film happen."

3 Inches of Blood are currently preparing a follow-up to 2009's, 'Here Waits Thy Doom'. The band recently unveiled the first track ('Lords of Change') to feature on the forthcoming 7", 'Anthems for the Victorious'.
