Billie Eilish has claimed the coveted Best Original Song award at the 2022 Golden Globes with her Bond track No Time To Die.
Co-written with her brother and collaborator Finneas O’Connell, No Time To Die is the third Bond song to claim the title, following on from Adele’s Skyfall and Sam Smith’s Writing’s On The Wall both picking up Golden Globes.
Both Adele and Smith’s songs went on to win Oscars too.
Also contributing to Daniel Craig’s final outing as James Bond by composing its soundtrack, Hans Zimmer has won Best Original Score for Dune, marking his third win in the category after 1994’s The Lion King and 2000’s Gladiator.

Meanwhile, Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story picked up Best Motion Picture, Musical Or Comedy and Spider-Man fave Andrew Garfield was awarded Best Performance By An Actor In A Motion Picture Musical Or Comedy for his portrayal of Rent creator Jonathan Larson in tick, tick… BOOM!.
No Time To Die, Dune and tick, tick… BOOM! were all on The Music’s favourite films of 2021 list.
