Ahead of the annual Queensland Music Awards in March next year, it has today been announced that entries for the 2016 event have been extended by an extra week.
State songwriters will now have until midnight on Sunday 13 December to get their submissions in which will give artists more time to finish up new works.

Next year's event will be held at the Brisbane Powerhouse on Monday 21 March. Tickets will be available for purchase early next year.
