The Keir Foundation, Carriageworks and Dancehouse, alongside the Australian Council, have announced the top four finalists following performances in Melbourne last month from a group of eight.
The artists will compete from 5-7 May for the accolade.
After deliberation from the judges, Ghenoa Gela, a Sydney-based choreographer, Rebecca Jensen from New Zealand now based in Melbourne, Martin Hansen an Australian choreographer now based in Berlin and Sarah Aiken, a finalist from the 2014 awards, were chosen.
The Keir Choreographic Award dedicates itself to finding new and innovative choreography in contemporary dance.
