1300 Cover Psy's 'Gangnam Style' For Like A Version

"Performing in Korean on a big platform like Like A Version means a lot to us. We don't really think about it too much, but when we do, its pretty great.

Fast rising, heavily adored Korean-Australian hip hop group 1300 have today made their triple j Like A Version debut, covering one of the most iconic songs of the past 20 years, Gangnam Style by PSY.

Their short and expansive discography has seen them combine the raw energy, emotion and creativity of internet hosted rap music with the high budget, glitz and glamour of K-hip-hop, all packaged with electronic fused sweat-doused instrumentals.

The performance comes off the back of the release of their newest single Rocksta which saw them announce their forthcoming debut mixtape Foreign Language is set for release on April 29.

The cover sees them transform the track into their chaotic and unique style, featuring an electronic-infused instrumental with a '90s rave inspired outro.

On the cover, the band stated, "Gangnam Style made us many friends in 2012. Gangnam Style was the first Korean song that went around the whole world and put Korea on the map. We want 1300 to do that.

"It's a blessing to speak the language we are more comfortable with, with the people who don't speak our language still interacting with the stuff we make."
