10 Things US Band Highly Suspect Expect Of Australia

Massachusetts rockers Highly Suspect are in town next month on their maiden voyage down under. With two Grammy nominations under their belt, we thought we'd ask the trio about ten things they highly suspect of Australia before they land on our shores...

 

1. We have a feeling that there will be a lot of really weird bugs. Like really big, awkward bugs.

 

2. There will probably be a lot of different animals and creatures that could kill us. That's a little unsettling. This will make it hard to sleep.

 

3. Funny accents. Not in a bad way. We are really into accents.

 

4. Australia is gonna have some really weird food. I've tried Vegemite... Shit's weird. And that's just what we get in the States. It must get weirder.

 

5. I'd be willing to bet you guys will have incredible sunsets. I mean how could not. You're Australia.

 

6. At night we will get to see all new constellations. You're below the fucking equator. That is insane to me.

 

7. I think you'll have intense music fans. That's exciting. I imagine you don't get to see American bands as often as say New York does. Obviously. So you probably attend shows as often as possible.

 

8. You'll have koala bears. I'm taking one. Don't try and tell me differently. 

 

9. We think you've probably got some seriously beautiful beaches. That's important to us. We grew up on a beach as well, can't wait to see the Gold Coast.
