Reuben De Melo will join other rising names on the growing roster.
Reuben De Melo (Jarryd West)
Reuben De Melo, victor of the 13th season of The Voice Australia, has signed an exclusive global licensing agreement with Perfect Pitch Publishing.
Perfect Pitch Publishing, who recently signed other rising West Australian names such as Boox Kid, Sophian, Joan & The Giants and Voyager, are continuing to build a strong and dynamic roster.
Clive Hodson, Managing Director of Perfect Pitch Publishing, expressed his excitement in welcoming De Melo to the growing team.
“I first met Reuben through Olivia (De Melo’s wife), when we signed her as a talented and prolific songwriter.
“Over the years, I’ve kept a close eye on his journey, and I was thrilled to hear he was auditioning for The Voice.
“Given the national platform the show provides, I was confident that once a wider audience heard what I’ve known all along – his exceptional voice and brilliant songwriting – the opportunities would open up for him.”

The indie-folk singer initially wowed audiences with his powerful performance of I See Fire during the blind auditions, turning the chairs of all four judges - Guy Sebastian, LeAnn Rimes, Kate Miller-Heidke, and Adam Lambert.
After being mentored by Rimes, in October of 2024, De Melo battled against Annie Jones, Jaedyn Randell and SKŸE in the finals, ultimately winning $100,000 in prize money, a music masterclass and an industry recording development package with Studios 301.
De Melo, originally from Goa, moved to Perth when he was 11 years old.
His journey as a musician began in 2018 with the release of his debut EP, Consumed. This was followed by an array of singles including his 2020 breakout hit Sweet Oblivion which has gained over 4.5 million streams on Spotify.
Although De Melo has been producing music for nearly a decade, this marks a new beginning for his journey as a singer-songwriter.
