The full lineup sports a drool-inducing 21 acts, performing over two nights in Auckland next month.
The lineup for this year’s Going Global artist showcase – coming as part of the broader Going Global Music Summit in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland), Aotearoa (New Zealand) – has been announced, featuring the likes of KITA, Summer Thieves and Vera Ellen.
The full lineup sports a drool-inducing 21 acts, performing over two nights (Friday September 1 and Saturday 2) across the triple venue combo of Whammy, Wine Cellar and Whammy Backroom. Other highlights from the bill include alt-country band D.C. Maxwell, garage-rockers Elliot & Vincent, indie-pop star MACEY, pop-rock outfit PARK RD, post-punkers Ringlets and shoegazers Soft Plastics. You can see the full list of performers below.
While the Going Global conference itself is an industry event, this showcase will be open to the public – you can find tickets for both nights here.
According to a press release, the event aims to give the performing artists a platform “to extend their reach, connecting with and performing for [festival bookers, sync licensing agents and record labels] from across the globe”.
