Katie Hardwick has started a new role as Lead Business Manager for Apple Music in the Australian and New Zealand market.
She confirmed the news on LinkedIn earlier today (May 20), writing that she’s “looking forward to the next chapter in my career”. She added: “I’ve got an incredible team working with me, and I’m grateful for all the support whilst I take the reigns. [I’m] always open to ideas and opportunities, so please reach out.”
Hardwick has been a key figure at Apple for nearly a decade now, kicking off her tenure in Label & Artist Relations back in April of 2016. She worked in that role until January of 2020, when she pivoted to Apple Music’s Business Partnerships division. Last June, she took over as the acting Apple Music Lead for the ANZ market, a position she held until just this month.
According to Hardwick’s LinkedIn page, her current roles include “business planning strategy and partner management,”, with a “focus on initiatives to continue to grow Apple Music”.
Meanwhile, Apple Music recently launched its inaugural 100 Best Albums list, with a ten-day countdown commemorating the fun and encouraging group engagement.
