American record label Glassnote Records has just announced its partnership with Australian music industry heavyweights How Good (run by Gerry Bull and Nick Yates), with their acts to be represented down under alongside the Aussie company.
Since bursting onto the music scene in 2007, Glassnote Records has built up an impressive roster with the likes of indie and hip-hop superstars Phoenix and Childish Gambino, plus alternative darlings CHVRCHES, AURORA, Two Door Cinema Club, and Daughter, plus Aussie groups The Teskey Brothers, The Temper Trap, and Flight Facilities. Meanwhile, Bull and Yates’ How Good offers artist development, project management, publicity, brand partnerships, sponsorships, and events via strategic creative campaigns for music, culture, and the arts.
How Good was established a year ago, with the pair working on campaigns with Glassnote for AURORA, GROUPLOVE, Tors, and bby. In addition to those campaigns, How Good has worked with Sleater-Kinney (Live Nation), Sparks (Secret Sounds), CHAII (BMG), Olympia, Ashwarya, South Summit, Mini Skirt, Pixie, Antiskeptic, and Lost Souls. How Good also locked in campaigns for venues and events such as Crowbar, Redfern Surf Club, and Behind The Gallery.

Glass recalled working at Chrysalis Records alongside ICEHOUSE and the Divinyls, and the moment he fell in love with acts like The Temper Trap, Flight Facilities, and The Teskey Brothers. He continued, “I’ve had a great respect for the culture, talent, and storytelling of Australian artists, as well as the country’s commitment to outstanding festivals, radio, and conferences.
