Lisa Wilkinson, the former Director of Publicity at Sony Music Australia, has embarked on a new professional venture. Today, she’s launched her own public relations agency, The Locker Room.
Described as a “dedicated publicity and entertainment hub,” Wilkinson brings over a decade of experience to the table, with the newly-founded company specialising in tailored PR services for clients across music and sport.
The project will find Wilkinson offering fresh PR campaigns that elevate artists and athletes, aiming to go beyond traditional media landscapes and opportunities.
Wilkinson has more than 15 years of experience in entertainment PR and talent strategy. Within the music industry, which she’s worked in since 2011, she’s worked at Universal Music Australia, Warner Music Australia, and, most recently, served as Director of Publicity at Sony Music Australia.
In addition to her work at home, Wilkinson has worked in artist management in London, helping shape the stories and careers of artists under the guidance of British manager Craig Logan.
Throughout her career, Wilkinson has been instrumental in numerous publicity campaigns for artists across Australia and abroad, including country music icons Luke Combs, Kane Brown, and Troy Cassar-Daley; rapper Illy; pop star Dua Lipa; indie group COTERIE; and many others.

“After more than a decade in the industry, I wanted to create a space that champions both artists and athletes in their professional and personal endeavours,” Wilkinson explained in a statement.
She continued, “The Locker Room is a home for campaigns built on authenticity, creativity and a genuine respect for the people behind the stories.”
Troy Cassar-Daley described Wilkinson as “Without a doubt one of the best promo people I’ve come across in a long time.” He also praised her passion, attention to detail, and imagination regarding opportunities, concluding: “She would be an incredible asset to any project she walked into, and an incredible human being to boot.”
Author, radio, and TV personality Ash London added, “Lisa is a very rare mix of kindness and kickass. Everyone in the industry knows that she is among the best of the best, and I count myself lucky to have worked alongside this absolute superstar.”
