Three of Australia’s biggest electronic music names—Dom Dolla, Fisher, and Rüfüs Du Sol—continue to make waves internationally and have picked up nominations at the 2025 DJ Awards.

Founded by Ibiza residents José Pascual and Lenny Krarup in 1998, the awards are now run by Andy Grant. The awards returned to Ibiza after a four-year hiatus last year, and continue with an impressive list of nominees for this year’s event.

Nominees for this year’s DJ Awards were announced this week (21 August) and recognise artists across multiple electronic genres, such as Afro, techno, house, and more.

While the date and location for this year’s award ceremony haven’t been announced yet, voting for your favourite artists is now open to the public. You can cast your vote here.

The Aussie artists mentioned above face some stiff international competition, though, with Fisher sharing the International DJ category with the likes of Calvin Harris and David Guetta, among others.

Meanwhile, Dom Dolla shares the Breakthrough category with Desiree and Mau P, and Rüfüs Du Sol have been nominated for Best Live Act alongside The Prodigy, Fred again.., and more.
