Good news for emerging artists: Applications are now open for the 2025 Justin Cosby Scholarship. In addition to the scholarship, a raffle has opened, with proceeds going towards nurturing future music talent.

Established in honour of the late Justin Cosby, the renowned A&R Director of Inertia Music, who passed away in 2021, the scholarship returns through the Australian Institute of Music (AIM) in 2025.

The prestigious scholarship throws its support behind one exceptional student per year studying for the Bachelor of Arts and Entertainment Management degree.

Jointly funded by AIM (via the AIM Education Foundation) as well as contributions from Cosby’s family, friends, and industry partners, the scholarship is all about ensuring that Cosby’s legacy of supporting emerging talent in Australia is fulfilled.

Applications for next year’s Justin Cosby Scholarship are open now until they close on 3 February 2025. You can head here to find more information about applying.

As mentioned above, AIM has kickstarted a raffle where you can win exciting music prizes to help raise funds for the 2025 scholarship. Prizes include a $1000 LP vinyl pack, signed albums (including by Nick Cave), concert tickets, and music posters.
