We Did 500 Episodes of What a Great Punk and All We Got Was This Lousy Tax Debt

Well, as famous rocker Julian Casablancas once said, “IS THIS IT?” In this case, I must confess… it is. It is it: It’s the WHAT A GREAT PUNK—500th episode—Season 1 Finale celebration tour. That’s right, gang. For now, it’s goodbye to our beloved podcast. It’s been a wild and wonderful ride, but only two things are true in life: All good things must come to an end, and you gotta pay your taxes. I hear you all gasp loudly, “No! Surely not! Do my eyes deceive me?”. But the truth is, it’s true. I would, however, encourage you to think of this more as a wake than as a funeral – a “see you again soon, maybe”, not a “see you in hell, forever”, type thing. What I’m trying to say is: “There’s a chance, slim as it may be, that it’s a ‘John Farnham’, and not a ‘Wacko Jacko’ type situation, if that makes sense?”

You are invited to join us as an esteemed audience member for three (3) LIVE RECORDED finale pods in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne respectively. There’ll be cool segments, even cooler guests, laughter, tears, beers, pistachio nut ice creams, and there may, just may, be a witches cackle…
