The dynamic act ‘The Peppermints’ debut their first headline show at the Bergy Bandroom for the releaseof their single ‘Make It Ugly’. Eden Beveridge-Wood and Monika Jurisic, the leading duo behind ‘ThePeppermints’, bring a pop, indie-rock sound to give you a night of unforgettable music. Their influence isderived from artists like Alanis Morissette, Beabadoobee, and The Japanese House, creating an originalsound with the help of their talented live band.Their single, ‘Make It Ugly’, features poignant lyrics that showcase shared experiences of the band’sleading ladies, emphasised by the track’s catchy melodies and dramatic instrumentation. The duo’s firstcollaborative original also features on Season 3 of ‘By Popular Demand’, created by the students andeducators of Monash University’s Bachelor of Music.Meeting at university studying music, Eden and Monika instantly became inseparable, bonding overshared life experiences, different passions and, of course, music. Their friendship and blending ofpersonal music styles makes them a dynamic duo unlike any other, sharing their passion with theMelbourne music scene.
