The Jay & Lindsay Variety Hour (and a bit)

Fresh from the surprising success of the September acoustic show, emotional troubadours Jay Whalley and Lindsay McDougall are packing up their lyric book and capo and heading north to Crowbar Brisbane next Friday November 28 for a completely free Queensland edition of The Jay & Lindsay Variety Hour (and a bit)!

Featuring all the hits and several memories from Frenzal Rhomb and associated sonic explorations, The Jay & Lindsay Variety Hour (and a bit) is an intimate and acoustic musical meander interspersed with special guests, stories behind the songs, stories in front of the songs, and stories that have very little to do with the songs at all.

The entry is free and the beers are delicious, so pop in for a drink, a sing, a drink, and for better or worse, to finally hear Frenzal songs at a decipherable volume and tempo. (The Self-Righteous Brothers songs will be played at very much their original speed, but with twenty years of hindsight to really bring those questionable lyrics into sharp relief).
