Fronted by the magnetic Nkechi Anele (Saskwatch, triple j) and Nic Ryan-Glenie (Saskwatch, The Meltdown), Owelu Dreamhouse unites some of Australia’s finest musicians to craft a sound that is both deeply personal and universally groovy.
Come and celebrate the release of ‘Tourist’, the first single from their highly anticipated debut album. Exploring the feeling of being a global citizen—belonging everywhere and nowhere all at once—‘Tourist’ is a powerful first taste of their captivating sound.
Kicking off the evening with a blend of traditional world music, funk, and jazz attitude is the brilliant Standing Circle, led by Larry Crestani (Black Jesus Experience).
